Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club

The Course is a links course and is included in Donald Steels book 'Classic Golf Links of Great Britain and Ireland'. It was laid out in its present form in 1920 when the Racecourse moved from the South Denes at Yarmouth to the North Denes. The Racecourse forms part of the golf course acting as rough on some holes and the outer rails as an out of bounds demarcation on others.

Although some irrigation is used to maintain the healthy condition of the course, the natural terrain offers a traditional challenge to golfers of all standards.
