Cottrell Park Golf Club

Cottrell Park boasts two 18 hole courses. The first, Mackintosh, is named after Alfred Donald Mackintosh of Mackintosh the 28th Chief of Clan Mackintosh and Chief of Clan Chattan. The course provides 6,397 challenging yards, which have been designed around the original features of the rolling parkland, including a Roman Motte.

The second course is Button, named after the Button family who resided at Cottrell during the 17th Century. Admiral Sir Thomas Button, a naval explorer famous for charting the American north west coast, where he named New Wales, Hopes Checked, Port Nelson, and Button Island. The course offers breathtaking views sweeping northwards as far as the Brecon Beacons and southwards over the Bristol Channel to Weston.
