Royal Cromer Golf Club

Very attractive cliff-top course established in 1888 situated between the seaside towns of Cromer and Overstrand on the north east coast of Norfolk with fine North Sea views.

Designed originally by Tom Morris with later improvements made by J H Taylor and James Braid, the current Frank Pennick design on the undulating hills covered with gorse and bracken. Many of the holes follow the cliff top with the most famous being the 14th lighthouse hole where a straight drive flirting with the cliff edge is essential if you are to set up a birdie opportunity.

The clubhouse overlooks the first tee and eighteenth green and offers a full range of bar snacks and hot meals. The professionals shop is found by the first tee and the Professional Lee Patterson is available to members and visitors for tuition.
